In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the BCCI suspended the league till at least April 15 as a precautionary measure.
However, as it turning out now, there seems to be no 'Plan B' in place but only 'Plan A' - which is to have the entire tournament consisting 60 matches, if not now then maybe a few months later, if not in India then maybe overseas, if not with all the available players then with some.
While the option to organise matches behind closed doors still remains an option for the BCCI, the Indian board might not take the risk after several footballers were tested positive for the virus.
